Townsend Hall, 52 Sheep St, Shipston-on-Stour CV36 4AE, UK – 01608 661218
This is a basic Market Town Hall that the local amature dramatics put on shows. Great fun and we'll worth a visit. Music nights have also been very good. Drinks available.
Very good, accessible hall.

Stunning location with blend of old and new very..very tastefully done. Better still is lots of very well trained staff who can cater for requests at the drop of a hat. EG. can we have gluten free batch for hog roast. Can we have sparking water instead of wine etc.
We got married here and it was fantastic. Especially the beautiful ceremony barn, the food, and Alex (with the Galloping Gourmet team). I would however agree with Emily Gudeman's review on facebook that the sound limiter is too low to have a decent party. If you want a live band- this isnt the venue for you. We didnt let this spoil our day, but feel strongly that future couples need to take this into consideration.

Update 14/10/17. The general standard of service in this place continues to get worse by the week. Far too many staff that don't give a toss for the customer. We're starting to avoid this establishment. Plus side is the decent food... The downside is the drinks here. The wine. Twice we were given warm and I MEAN WARM WHITE WINE. Absolutely unforgivable for any establishment. The manager handled the situation very well and entirely to our satisfaction but this has happened before. Simply not good enough. Too many staff that haven't a clue what they're doing I'm afraid.
A nice little country pub with a good selection of beers an local ales. We didn't try the food but the restaurant had a good amount of tables and quiet areas to eat. Would definitely visit again.

More a village style hospital with limitations not A & E Hard working staff as always .
Not really the sort of place you like to review as you don't want to be there too often. After the way they treated a family member who was effectively seeing out the last fortnight of her life in the Ellen Badger, and the way the whole family were treated I felt impelled to write this review about how friendly everyone was, how well everything was handled, and how nice the room and location was. Thank you
